We deserve leadership that puts an end to distractions, focuses on issues that impact our daily lives, and works for the majority, not around it.

Fighting for Cherokee and Spartanburg Communities

Healthcare Access

In South Carolina, access to basics like healthy food, maternal care, and infant health still depends on your ZIP code- with rural, low-income, and Black communities facing the greatest barriers to the essentials families need to thrive.

Workers' Rights

Throughout South Carolina, minimum wage earners must work 91 hours per week to afford a one-bedroom apartment, or 106 hours per week, for a modest two-bedroom. Wages simply haven’t kept up with housing costs.

Violence Prevention

South Carolina has weak gun laws and we suffer one of the highest rates of gun homicides in the nation. Our communities lack resources so 1 in 3 households can’t afford basic needs like childcare, housing, and food which leads to violence.

Intentional Growth

In 2025, South Carolina had the highest population growth in the U.S. We must think long-term and ensure people are considered over profit in development decisions.

Secure Gun Storage

We support the Second Amendment and know that it goes hand-in-hand with support for common-sense gun laws and a culture of gun safety. Gun owners can make their homes and communities safer by storing their guns securely. This means storing them unloaded, locked, and separate from ammunition.

State House Updates

The state budget (H. 5200) for the 2026-2027 fiscal year has left the House and is now under review by the Senate. It includes significant cuts to social services in order to pay for tax reductions, mostly benefiting the top 1%. Thankfully, the budget includes pay increases for teachers.
